Professor Zhao Liping, Chair Professor at Rutgers University and Distinguished Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, presented a groundbreaking scientific approach to weight management that does not rely on willpower. Professor Wang Xin from Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences shared the latest research on the “Gut-X Axis” mechanism, revealing the immense potential of dietary fiber in areas such as neurological development. Senior Researcher Du Yuguang from the National Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, discussed “Nutritional Sugar Biology and the Exploration of New Prebiotic Functional Activities.” Associate Dean Xie Xinhua from the College of Food Science and Technology at Henan Agricultural University introduced “Construction, Performance, and Applications of Polydextrose-Based Multifunctional and Smart Food Packaging Films,” showcasing the broad applications of dietary fiber in functional material innovation and advanced packaging.

International Collaboration to Address Global Challenges International experts from institutions such as the Global Health Institute at the University of Geneva and the International Potato Center (CIP) emphasized the strategic importance of dietary fiber in transforming global food systems and preventing chronic diseases, calling for enhanced cross-border research collaboration and policy alignment.

On the afternoon of October 13, during the key corporate exchange event—the China-France Agricultural Cooperation Exchange—Tailijie was invited as one of the three highlighted Chinese companies. In her keynote speech, General Manager Guo Fangjie systematically showcased Tailijie’s deep expertise in dietary fiber technology innovation and industrial applications.
